Many people are moving about with excitement and glee over the holiday season. Parties are being planned; travel plans are in motion; families are anticipating reunions!
However, there is a select group of people who are anxious and stressed over the holiday season. While songs and wishes of peace and joy permeate through our society, there are people who are grieving the loss of a loved one. If you fall into this category, we at IYC would like to dedicate this month's article to you. We hope that these two articles will help you during this holiday season. We are also praying for all of the bereaved. May God fill every empty void and make you whole!
God loves you and so do we!
God comforts us in the pressures we have to endure... Remember that "comfort" does not mean relief from the pressure. It is not a feather bed to lie on or a cushion to absorb the blows. It means, literally, "with strength." God gives to the person who trusts him strength to bear the pressures. Remember, too, that it is always given for the added purpose of equipping us to help others who need comfort.
